The Head of Outdoor Education has significant collaborative leadership responsibilities in relation to the design, development and delivery of programmes and student services. These include experiences provided across all year levels (Prep to Year 12) and those provided at and around the School’s Outdoor Education Centre at Ritamada, the Main Campus as well as those experiences held at other sites.
The Head of Outdoor Education will plan, manage, implement, and evaluate the School’s Outdoor Education Program and will have responsibility for managing all teachers and staff who deliver the Outdoor Education Programme for °®¶¹´«Ã½. This will include mentoring new Outdoor Education teachers, organisation of professional development, currency requirements and updating staff on changes in Outdoor Education requirements as they become available. This also includes all risk assessment activities associated with the Outdoor Education Programme.
As Head, you are responsible for all aspects of learning, teaching and facilitating assessment and monitoring of the curriculum and programmes and be a mentor to other teachers.
Commencement: This position has a commencement date of January 2025.
